Bakau Beach

This is Bakau Beach where many fishermen bring their boats in after they have been fishing all night out on the ocean.

  1. Scene looks like it could have been taken hundreds of years ago. Very interesting.

  2. It must be hard work! I wonder what kind of fish they catch? I'd be seasick...

  3. This is beautiful! So many boats and people busy working. This should be framed and hung in a gallery!

  4. Working as a fisherman in the North of Spain a decade ago, seeing this beautiful photography of yours provided nice memories - thank you for that.

It might even be true that one doesn't need only to know how to build a boat, but also have the desire for life, while going out to sail upon the sea.

  7. Your post is nice. Bakau Beach is small town which will take you back in years where people had no watch but had time for each other and away from place where people have watch (Tag Heur and Cartier!) but no time for each other. Bakau Beach is a beautiful sight to see when you see the fishing pirogues lined on the shore in the twilight when the fishermen come over to take it and still practice the old age method of fishing and take boats in water.
